San Diego Brain Tumor Walk

Saturday, May 9, 2020, The Waterfront Park, San Diego, CA

National Brain Tumor Society’s top priority is the health of the brain tumor community. We’ve been closely monitoring the evolving guidance and recommendations of public health officials related to the outbreak of the novel coronavirus (also known as COVID-19), and now that the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s has updated its guidelines on community events to advise against mass gatherings of more than 50 people for at least eight weeks, we will be transitioning the San Diego Brain Tumor Walk to a virtual event.

While we’re disappointed we won’t be able to see everyone in person, NBTS remains committed to rallying the San Diego brain tumor community in an inspiring day of honor, remembrance, hope, and unity for all those who’ve been impacted by this disease and hope you’ll join us online. In the coming days, we’ll be sharing more information about the virtual event and how you can participate.

We greatly appreciate our community’s understanding and flexibility during this public health crisis. Your support and commitment to helping us achieve our mission and vision are critical to everything we do at NBTS. We would not be able to move forward with our efforts to fight brain tumors without your continued inspiration, dedication, and generosity. We ask and hope that you will remain engaged with NBTS throughout this period.
