Welcome to the National Brain Tumor Society Twin Cities Brain Tumor Walk presented by Brains Together for a Cure, an event to raise awareness and much-needed resources to fund critical brain tumor-specific programs to improve the lives of all those affected by brain tumors. Hosted by the National Brain Tumor Society, the Twin Cities Brain Tumor Walk presented by Brains Together for a Cure offers individuals and teams a chance to honor and remember loved ones, connect with others interested in the brain tumor cause, and helps to educate the local community on the diverse needs of the brain tumor community.

All funds raised through our events allow the National Brain Tumor Society to advance research and public policy to improve the availability of new and better treatments, and fuel the discovery of a cure for brain tumors.

About Brains Together for a Cure

The Brains Together for a Cure mission is to promote awareness of brain tumor and the need for effective treatments. In 2007 a group of dedicated women, all passionate about the brain tumor community, recognized unmet needs for advocacy and support in Southeastern Minnesota.  Together, they started Brains Together For a Cure to provide assistance to brain tumor survivors and their families and to ultimately find a cure for the disease by raising grant funds for brain tumor research. In 2017, Brains Together for a Cure decided to partner with the National Brain Tumor Society on the 2018 Twin Cities Brain Tumor Walk to offer individuals and teams of the area a chance to honor and remember loved ones, connect with others interested in the brain tumor cause, and help educate the local community on the diverse needs of the brain tumor community.
