Welcome to the Los Angeles Brain Freeze, an event to raise awareness and much needed resources to fund critical brain tumor-specific programs to improve the lives of all those affected by brain tumors. Hosted by the National Brain Tumor Society, the Los Angeles Brain Freeze offers individuals and teams a chance to honor and remember loved ones, connect with others interested in the brain tumor cause, and to help educate the local community on the diverse needs of the brain tumor community.
“Freeze” With Us
Join us for our 1st annual Los Angeles Brain Freeze as participants can brave the “cold” waters of Hermosa Beach! Teams and individuals are encouraged to wear their best costumes, bring all the spirit they have and get ready to plunge into the ocean in celebration of all their hard work, promoting and fundraising for this urgent mission.
Don’t Feel Like Freezing?
No need to worry! We will still hold a walk on “The Strand” after participants take their plunge into the ocean.
New in 2018: Tiered registration fees (17 & younger are FREE)
$25 until October 8th
$30 October 9th – November 1st
Event Day Registration is $35
All funds raised through our events allow the National Brain Tumor Society to advance research and public policy to improve the availability of new and better treatments, and fuel the discovery of a cure for brain tumors.
