2018 Orange County Brain Tumor Walk Challenges
National Brain Tumor Society event participants work very hard – and we appreciate everything you do in the fight against brain tumors. Each fundraising challenge is offered to help maximize your team and fundraising efforts towards reaching your goals – plus a little friendly competition never hurt! The fundraising prizes are our way of saying “THANK YOU!”
In an effort to help you achieve fundraising heights we developed a 2018 Event Sponsorship Package. If you work at a business that has a “community engagement” team or for a group that would benefit from exposure to participants from all over Southern California, we would like to talk to you more about how to approach your company and ask for their partnership. Please email Jeremie Sulit to discuss opportunities.
See “who you walk for” on the Angel stadium jumbotron and walk route!
Teams who collectively raise $1,500 or more from now until Friday, September 7th, will have an opportunity to send us a photo of “who you walk for” to be featured on the jumbotron inside Angel Stadium as well as a 12”x18” sign with their loved one’s photo on it along the walk route during our event. One photo per team and photos must be emailed to Jeremie Sulit.
Team Fundraising Challenge
All teams who raise $7,500 or more by Wednesday, September 12th, will have their own designated team area with a 10×10 tent, an 8’ table, and 6 chairs for your team to use on the day of our event. Your team name will be printed and set out on your table and tent. We encourage you to bring additional folding chairs and décor to personalize your own area!
Raise $2,500 on your personal fundraising page by September 30, 2018 and earn an NBTS Rainer Jacket.
Recipients will receive on event day. One prize per person. Registration fees count toward this fundraising goal.
We encourage Teams and/or individual participants to bring silent auction items to this year’s Orange County Brain Tumor Walk! The amount raised for the items you bring will go back to your team or individual fundraising tally.
Please email Jeremie Sulit to receive your silent auction form and feel free to bring as many silent auction items as you’d like. Silent Auction items will be in a designated canopy on the day of the event and you can drop them off to the volunteer in charge of the area.
Awards to EARN and be celebrated on event day!
Top Fundraising Walker will surely earn a high five on event day!
Top Fundraising Team – we can’t wait to see what kind of impact you make in the pursuit of better treatments!
Spirit Award is for the most spirited team or individual attending the event. This person/team will need to not only dress in spirited attire but will exude Orange County Brain Tumor Walk pride inspiring others.
