Rain or shine, the event will go on!
Regardless of weather, layered clothing, windbreakers, sunglasses and sunscreen are recommended.
Be sure to visit the Tree of Hope, kid’s fun zone, and merchandise tent!
Packet Pickup Information:
We will provide early packet pickup on Friday, November 2 at the event site from 5-7pm.
Parking will be on site at the event in the cancer center’s new parking deck. There are 600 spots available, plus overflow parking in the old cancer center’s parking lot.

All funds raised through these events allow the National Brain Tumor Society to advance research and public policy to improve the lives of all those living with a brain tumor, as well as anyone who will be diagnosed tomorrow. Our mission is to find a cure for brain tumors – register today to help make a difference in the fight against brain tumors.
Fees are required for any timed event such as Jacksonville Brain Tumor Race. Walker registration is $25 for adults and free for kids 17 and younger. Timed Runner Registration for Adults is $35 and $10 for kids 17 and younger. Upon registration, you will receive a personal fundraising page and useful online tools to help you jumpstart your efforts. Even after the event is over, you will still have access to your personal fundraising page, allowing you to maximize your impact in the fight against brain tumors.
Am I required to fundraise a minimum amount?
Adults are encouraged to raise a minimum of $200 or more to help fund the discovery of a cure and better treatments for brain tumors.A donation table is available at the event to drop off checks and cash. Be sure to bring your donations with you so we can count them there towards the day end totals!
Where do Brain Tumor Events funds go?
Proceeds from the event support research to find a cure for brain tumors, public policy advocacy, and patient information to make sure the critical needs of the brain tumor community are met, through the National Brain Tumor Society (NBTS).
Do I need to register my children?
Children ages 6-17 are required to register. Children ages 5 and under do not need to register for this event.
I plan to participate to support one of my friends and their team. Do I still have to register?
If you are walking, running or riding you must register to participate. If you plan to attend as a cheering section, you do not need to register. Registration is open at the event for anyone to register.
Can I walk and volunteer?
What are Matching Gift Programs?
Many employers have matching gift programs and will match any charitable contributions made by their employees. Ask your employer or HR department for more information. Generally, you will be asked to complete and submit a form to NBTS for approval. This form can be sent to the above address.

Are pets allowed at the event?
Pet policies vary, and are based on the rules of each venue. If pets are permitted at the venue, please keep your pets on a leash at all times. And, if your pet does not do well in large crowds, please consider leaving them at home. Please do not leave your pet in your car during the event.
Will I receive an event t-shirt?
All registered participants, volunteers, and survivors receive a t-shirt.
