**The 2014 Delaware Brain Tumor Walk has a NEW start time. The walk will begin at the balloon arches at 10:00 AM.
Calling all Team Captains! Beginning promptly at 9:40 AM team captains will be invited to the stage to share the name of the loved one they walk in honor of. If you wish to share, please listen for announcements and make your way to the stage.
Survivor Photo – a survivor photo will be taken at the stage at 9:30 AM. If you are a survivor and would like to participate, please make your way to the stage around 9:15 AM.
Top team and top individual fundraisers will be acknowledged during the closing ceremony.
Rain or shine the event will go on!
Regardless of weather, layered clothing, windbreakers, sunglasses, and sunscreen are recommended.
Top Team: The top ten fundraising teams will receive a reserved parking sport for (1) car and a space to put up a tent. Team Captains will be notified by 4/24
- $1K Club Challenge – be entered to win an iPad mini® by giving or raising $1,000 by April 24!
- Win signature gear – receive a signature National Brain Tumor Society ball cap by giving or raising $200 by April 24
The two westbound lanes of the Boulevard in front of the Chase Center will be closed. All traffic will be diverted to the eastbound lanes of the Boulevard, which will now have one lane going in each direction. Signage will be installed to direct traffic to parking areas for the Chase Center and Frawley Stadium. Traffic & parking for the Shipyard Center should not be impacted.
All event participants should park in the lot across from the event site on South Justison Street.
Look for the “Drop-Off” sign. Enter there and walk through the lot Registration tent to check in.
Handicap/Special Needs parking will be available in the event site lot on South Justison Street. Look for “Drop-Off” signs. Only individuals with official handicap tags will be allowed to access this parking, unless arrangements are made ahead of time.

Is there a registration fee?
Upon registration, you will receive a personal fundraising page and useful online tools to help you jumpstart your efforts. Even after the event is over, you will still have access to your personal fundraising page, allowing you to maximize your impact in the fight against brain tumors.

To maximize every dollar raised, we only provide event T-shirts to registered survivors and volunteers. However, we also offer T-shirts for adults and children at each event, in exchange for a donation.
