2018 Central NJ Brain Tumor Walk Fundraising Challenges
National Brain Tumor Society event participants work very hard – and we appreciate everything you do in the fight against brain tumors. Each fundraising challenge is offered to help maximize your individual and team fundraising efforts toward reaching your goals – plus a little friendly competition never hurt! The fundraising prizes are our way of saying “THANK YOU!”

In an effort to help you achieve fundraising heights we developed a 2018 Sponsorship Packet. Simply ask Suzanne Isbell (firstname.lastname@example.org) and she will send you one! If you work at a business that has a “community engagement” team or for a group that would benefit from exposure to 1,500 walkers from all over the Central NJ Area we would like to talk to you more about how to approach your company and ask for their partnership. Please email Suzanne Isbell to discuss opportunities.
All the funds your item raises day of the event will be applied to either your individual or team fundraising website within two weeks of the event. There will be no raffle tickets sold at the walk. This is a silent auction only. If you bring gift certificates or tickets of any kind, you’ll need to provide them to the staff person working the tent that morning unless previously approved beforehand.
Individual Fundraising Challenges
Raise $250 on your personal fundraising page by event day to earn a NBTS Branded Hat.
Raise $500 on your personal fundraising page by event day to earn a NBTS long sleeve tee.
Raise $1000 on your personal fundraising page by event day to earn a NBTS Branded Beach Towel.
Raise $1500 on your personal fundraising page by event day to earn a hooded sweatshirt.
Raise $2500 on your personal fundraising page by event day to earn a NBTS Branded Outdoor Chair with Bag.
Anyone who personally fundraises $500 or more on your personal fundraising page by Monday, April 30, 2018 will earn one commemorative sign to be placed along the mission mile.
Team Fundraising Challenges
- Raise $10,000 as a team by Monday, April 30th and earn a 8′ table and 8 chairs to use on event day
- Raise $15,000 as a team by Monday, April 30th and earn a 10×10 tent, 8′ table and 8 chairs to use on event day

Largest Team – rally the most registered participants on your team and WIN!
The team with the highest fundraising average per person is HUGE for the mission and we can’t wait to celebrate you!
Top Fundraising Walker will surely earn a high five on event day!
Top Fundraising Team – we can’t wait to see what kind of impact you make in the pursuit of better treatments!
Recipients will receive prizes on event day. One prize per person. Registration fees count toward this fundraising goal.
