Welcome to the Inaugural Richmond Brain Tumor Brewhaha in Scott’s Addition! We thank you for supporting the National Brain Tumor Society’s efforts to find a cure for brain tumors, and improve the quality of life and treatment options for those living with a Brain Tumor. We are STRONGER TOGETHER, and we are happy to have found a new home in Richmond!
The Brain Tumor Brewhaha is a Family Friendly Timed 5K Run and Walk to raise awareness and funds for the Brain Tumor Community. Late morning festivities will be followed by an afternoon Vendor “crawl” through Scott’s Addition neighborhood. National Brain Tumor Society will be securing perks and benefits from area Restaurants, Retail Shops, Health & Wellness studios, Breweries etc; for our wristband wearing participants. Those benefits can be redeemed following the race/ walk. Wristbands are available for purchase when you register. Details surrounding those benefits will be rolled out on an on-going basis, so check back frequently!
It’s Your fight. It’s Our fight!
All funds raised through our events allow the National Brain Tumor Society to advance research and public policy initiatives to improve the availability of new and better treatments, and fuel the discovery of a cure for brain tumors.
Thank you to our Sponsors:
Legacy Sponsor: CapTech Consulting
CapTech is honored to sponsor Richmond’s Brain Tumor Brewhaha to raise awareness of the work the National Brain Tumor Society does to drive advancements in research and advocate for public policy changes on behalf of the over 700K people living with this disease and those not yet diagnosed. CapTech and our employees actively participate in the communities we serve. Our company has a long history of supporting a number of local non-profits and charities that make a difference. Our employees also donate income and time annually to these organizations – in particular, to those programs that improve educational systems, promote healthy lifestyles, enable entrepreneurial initiatives, and develop solutions that heal people in need. We passionately support NBTS’ mission to find better treatments, and ultimately a cure for patients.
